Ralph Taylor graduated in 2019 at The Shiatsu College in London with a Shiatsu Practitioner Diploma, receiving training in Zen Shiatsu, Acupressure, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Holistic Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology. Additionally, Ralph completed postgraduate studies at the School of Experiential Education in Somatic Exploration and Movement Shiatsu. In 2021 he was awarded with a Level 1 certificate in Polarity Therapy and Healing Skills.

 

Ralph is also a qualified reflexologist and a member of The Association of Reflexologists (AoR). He is insured for his practice through Balens, specialists in Health and Wellbeing Professionals.

His background is in Theatre Practice and Contemporary Circus, having graduated with a BA (Hons.) from the Central School of Speech and Drama and The Circus Space in 2001. Ralph and his wife (with whom he co-founded the theatre company Circle of Two) had their second child in January 2016. He continues to perform alongside his Shiatsu practice.

 

Over the years working as an acrobat, he has acquired a good knowledge of human anatomy and a very good appreciation of body dynamics, being aware that the body can hold both to physical and emotional injuries. He strongly believes that Shiatsu is one of the most complete manual therapies and is a committed advocate for the promotion of its benefits.
